About Spielbank Bremen

Our state-licensed casino Spielbank Bremen opened in Böttcherstrasse in 1980 as Casino Bremen and has been housed in a historical office building at the Weser Promenade Schlachte in the heart of Bremen since 2010. A change of ownership came on 30th December 2021, when Bremer Toto und Lotto GmbH took over from the Westspiel Group based in North Rhine-Westphalia, meaning the casino is now fully in Bremen hands.

Guests have the choice of casino classics such as American roulette, blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold’em as well as slot machines. With almost 100 members of staff, we at Bremer Spielcasino GmbH & Co. KG have also been operating a branch with slot machines in Bremerhaven since 1982.

Here at Spielbank Bremen, we are committed to more than just entertainment: in addition to gaming taxes, which correspond to 40% of the gross gaming revenue and flow into the general state budget of Bremen as casino taxes, we are also actively involved in local sports, culture and social affairs.
