Historic success at Heinrich-Baden-Weg: With an impressive 3-1 victory against TSV Mannheim last weekend, the 1st women's team of the Bremer Hockey Club (BHC) secured its place in the 1st Field Hockey Bundesliga. 💪🎉

For the first time in the club's history, the team has managed to stay in the league immediately after promotion. In front of a packed stand and with the loud support of numerous fans, the women showed great morale: after an early deficit, captain Lena Frerichs turned the game around with two goals, before Argentine national player Josefina Rübenacker sealed the 3-1 final score with a penalty corner variant.

In addition to the sporting triumph, there was also an emotional farewell: top striker Nathalie Hoppe is leaving the BHC after many successful years to continue her studies in the USA. We thank her for her dedication and wish her all the best!

Congratulations to the entire team, the coaching and support staff, and all supporters on this well-deserved success. We look forward to another season of top-class Bundesliga hockey in Bremen! 🏑
