How to reach us

1. BY CAR

The city of Bremen is designated as a low-emission zone. This means that since 1st July 2011, you will need a green sticker unless an exemption rule applies for your vehicle.

From Hamburg, Hannover or Osnabrück:
Use the A27 and A1 motorways, take the Arsten exit and follow the B6 main road. Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse leads directly to Bremen city centre and the Schlachte.

From Cuxhaven or Bremerhaven:
Use the A27 motorway, take the Bremen-Überseestadt exit and then follow the B6 main road until the Woltmershausen/Hohentorshafen exit below following the signs for Centrum. 

From Oldenburg:
Via the A28 motorway, take the Hamburg/Bremen exit to reach the A1 motorway. Continue on the A1 until the Bremen Hemelingen exit below following the signs for Centrum. When travelling here, please check the information regarding the traffic situation.

2. BY BUS, TRAM AND TRAIN TO THE CITY CENTRE

Deutsche Bahn AG
You can reach Bremen city centre quickly and conveniently with the local and long-distance trains operated by Deutsche Bahn. From there, you can take the north exit to the trade fair centre or the south exit to the public transport platforms, central bus station and city centre. BSAG – Bremer Straßenbahn AG
Bremer Straßenbahn AG’s (BSAG) trams and buses are ideal for exploring Bremen. Almost all lines converge at the central station and the well-developed public transport network makes this the perfect starting point for reaching anywhere in Bremen. Do you want to take a long-distance bus? The long-distance bus stops can be found close to the train station in Breitenweg and in front of the CinemaxX.

3. BY BIKE

Bicycles are the preferred mode of transport in Bremen – and for good reason! The extensive and well-developed network of cycle paths lead you through Bremen in a special way.

Parking options for your bike
It goes without saying that there are plenty of bike racks at the Schlachte where you can lock up your bicycle. Please avoid parking your bike directly on the Promenade.
